I have thick long frizzy hard to style hair I don't have a SEDU but I have a SOLIA and what works for me is anything between 320 and 410. I usually put it at the highest I understand you and yeah about the highest or near it should work.
Don't forget to use a heat protector like Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum or whatever your favorite is just as long as it protects against high temps.
Also with the high temp you might just have to go over you hair once slowly, but don't leave it on one spot for more than 2 seconds that will really burn your hair. Also flat iron 1-2 inch sections of hair at a time starting at the bottom of your hair moving from root to ends.(not to close to the roots)
About what the other person said about the tissue if it turns yellow that's fine that means your iron it hot which it should be but for our hair we need high temps if you do the tissue thing if the color is not even the heat is not being disturbed even and that's not good.
Hope it work's out for you GOOD LUCK

The Solia hair straightener grants a temperature administration so that you'll opt for the suitable placing as a lot as 450 ranges. decrease temps are used to straighten or structure skinny, practicable hair. the better temperature settings will convey obdurate tresses lower than administration. both way, hair that has been styled by technique of the Solia Hair Straightener will be extra healthful, silkier, and could save its structure longer.

Um. You need to go as low as possible and seperate your hair into sections and straighten it that way. If you put high heat on your hair... your hair will fry and break off.
A good test to see if your flat iron is TOO hot:
Take a Kleenex and throw it on the flat iron (the flat iron being on the tempature you straighten your hair with). Clamp the flat iron together as if you were straightnening your hair... wait 5 seconds... let go. If the Kleenex is yellow, your flat iron is too hot and it will warp your hair. Good luck.

400 if you want it fast, that will probably work best for your hair.
