Same/ as the last Q. Im not sure whether im going to drop down at SJC, maybe sunnyvale or downtown san jose.

Hard to say, since you don't seem to know where you are going. All your travel options have websites tho, so go surf.

In 1974, I flew from SFO to Sacramento, and the ticket was $11. The taxi to the hotel was $15.

Check out the on-demand or booked shuttles, they are much cheaper and more comfortable than taxis and some companies don't share the ride, so you effectively get limo service for half of taxi prices.

My answer is STILL a door-to-door shuttle, about $50-75 or so, little more if you go really far outside the city.
