Singapore has a lot of PR from Hongkong. If you are a working professional, u will have a good chance of getting a PR, there is no standard ruling here and all cases are assess on a case by case basis. But generally those with a wealth of experience in the top management positions, R&D, life sciences and other specialised fields will stand a rather good chance. If you have a business with high turnover and profitability and employing the locals here, then u won't have any problem getting a PR.

Prior to the event in 1997 (As a Hong Kong Resident, you should know what event is that), the Singapore Government had actually specially open up for HongKong resident to be Singapore PR, it's still applied to date.
The following categories of foreigners are eligible to submit applications:

- Spouse and unmarried children (below 21 years old) of a Singapore Citizen (SC)/Permanent Resident (SPR);
- Aged parents of a Singapore Citizen;
- P, Q or S work pass holders;
- Investors/Entrepreneurs;
- Hong Kong residents who satisfy certain guidelines can apply for permanent residence by submitting applications through SMC Management Consultants Pte Ltd in Singapore.

Take note on the last point. You can check out with Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority for dtails:

I never do this in the normal movement. I can only do in some case such as 1) the person will be old. 2) in case of 70 % physically disable. 3) in case if there is rush in the bus.
