This recipe looked good to me and is rated 4 stars, but you can find more recipes if this one doesn't catch your fancy.

Pisang Goreng (Indonesian Banana Fritters)

INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 tablespoon vanilla powder
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon rum flavoring
4 ripe bananas, sliced
2 cups oil for frying

DIRECTIONS
1)In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and vanilla powder. Make a well in the center, and pour in milk, egg, melted butter and rum flavoring. Mix until smooth. Fold in banana slices until evenly coated.
2)Heat oil in a wok or deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
3)Drop banana mixture by tablespoon into hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, 10 to 15 minutes. Remove bananas from oil, and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

Jemput Jumput (Banana Fritters)
asian style

INGREDIENTS
5/8 cup all-purpose flour
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
6 ripe bananas
3 tablespoons white sugar
oil for frying
DIRECTIONS
Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy bottomed pan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Sift the flour, salt, and baking powder into a medium bowl.
In a separate bowl, mash together the bananas and sugar. Gradually mix flour mixture into mashed bananas, stirring until well combined.
Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil, and cook, turning once, until browned, 2 to 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

do u mean banana chips/crispies??

U can make it out of a banana fruit(ripe) or from a banana that isnt ripe.

Slice them in the form of very thin circles. Heat oil in a pan and fry them.

Sprinkle some salt and chilly powder.

Serve hot or at normal temperature.

Yes, it is Pisang Goreng or some call Goreng Pisang, meaning Fried (Goreng) Banana (Pisang)....You may also get at this stalls like Fried Jack fruit, Tapioca, Sweet Potatoes or even Jack fruit seeds.
In Singapore there is one place I frequent is the Long House at Upper Thomson Road (Shun Fu area).
