First of all it is not necessary for anyone to be baptised in water for salvation, baptised or not you can be saved.

It is however something Jesus commanded Christians to do, so in getting baptised in water you publicly declare your faith, identifying with the death burial and Resurrection of Jesus and in doing so you are being obedient to Jesus.

The Baptism of The Holy Spirit is different thing entirely.

Not being baptised won't stop you from being a true Christian, but you should be aware that we are being obedient by being baptised as the Word of God tells us to, and we are following the example of Jesus, who was baptised by John of course. I personally couldn't wait to get baptised, despite opposition from certain family members, because I wanted to give my testimony to what it meant to me. It's a part of our witness that shows how serious we are about following Jesus.

Baptism in water is one of two commandments gave by Jesus to His disciples, the other being the Lord's Supper. Christians do so as an act of obedience to Jesus and also to proclaim publicly their decision to follow Jesus and their commitment to Him. Baptism is a symbolic act which represents the death of the old self (nature) and the birth of the new person in Christ. When the person is immersed in the water, the old man is buried, his sins cleansed and washed and he emerges out of the water as a new man in Christ.

It is not compulsory for one to be baptised in water in order to be saved - one is saved by believing, repentance of sins and inviting Jesus Christ to become one's personal Lord and Master. The thief crucified on the cross beside Jesus was not baptised but Jesus said, "Today you will be with me in paradise" shows that baptism is not a must for one to enter heaven. I, personally would advised water baptism as a outward act and declaration to all of one's commitment and faith in Christ.

Baptism in the Spirit is not the same as baptism by water. The baptism of the Spirit is given to all who accepts Christ and who loves Him. This is the promise of Christ that He will sent forth the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, who will empower and guide us to live our Christian lives.

Pre christianity, there was no baptism, the priests would wash themselves in natron before going before the God, and had to have abstained from contact with thier wives from 7 days prior.
There was no forgiveness of sins. On passing, your heart was weighed against a feather of truth, if you tipped the balance not in favour, you would be eaten by a beast. You would have no chance of continuing a life in the hereafter.

Christians changed all this just 2000 years ago, they consider it is compulsary to be baptised for the washing away of sins. without baptism, (complete dunking) you had no chance of entering heaven.

The only way to enter heaven is to be completely sinless.

Needless to say, many of us will not be entering the afterlife, we will be eaten by the beast.

the only thing we can do is to know certain things, which have been kept secret from us by the corruption of Rome, my advice is to read the Book of the Dead.
It is the only chance we have to be saved.
If you read it, you will see every single story that was written in the bible (with names having been changed in the bible), only difference is, these stories are still there today, in the original language, still etched on the Temple walls, unchanged forever.
The christians tried to desecrate the Temples.

Jesus overturned tables in the Temples, but what he did was happened in the Outer Court of the Temple, where trading used to take place, the worship of the God happened in the sanctuary, where only the sem priest and pharoah was allowed.

The use of the water is only a symbol of the washing away of sins and transgressions.
Happy and blessed Easter to you.
