I mean i have one or two friends, but at college i'm basically my own man. I just feel other guys and girls are way too immature for my liking. I also find most guys at my college too gay to befriend.

I would be more interested in a guy who is a loner and doesnt follow a crowd, than the popular type who just wants to be liked by everyone.

I like people who are their own person, true to themselves, and really most popular people are too into doing what everybody else does and pleasing their peers.

keep being your own man, and someone will appreciate and notice you for that one day.

The answer is ........................yes.

Its not a matter of whether or not the guy is a loner, but how he treats the woman he's interested in. Some women like being with men who are quiet, many times, guys like yourself are ones who do and will speak up when the situation calls for it.

A woman mostly wants to know that a man can protect her, I'm sure you will be able to convey that message to whom ever you date as you're not afraid to point out the immaturity of some of the people around you. You don't sound like a push over and you sound like you know what you want; very attractive to women.

you sound more mature than a loner. don't be ashamed of that. but most girls i know (myself included) prefer guys who are outgoing and responsive. guys who show a genuine interest in other people and make the first step.

Girls like men who are a gentleman, loving, caring and have good interpersonal skills. They seldome go for a loner.

Depends on the girl. If she's shy and introverted and not really interested in being popular - maybe. If she's really popular and interested in maintaining and improving her social status- no way. Thats just genralisations though...

Ah...depends if you're trying to study hard and prefer not to make any friends or if you're just not very likeable. If you just aren't very likeable and cannot make friends then i would say no. If you're just "too cool for school" for everyone else then i'd say yes because it shows you are confident in yourself.

I'm a "loner". My wife says she likes me as a "friend"... So, I don't think that premise is correct.

Well no, since as soon as they get togeather, he is no longer a loner, so she losses interest.
