here's what you've got to do!
STEP 1: Avoid stress at work. It's a huge factor in ulcers, because you have no way to express anger in the workplace. If you gnash your teeth all day at work, consider changing jobs, joining a support group or seeing a counselor. STEP 2: Check your blood type. People with type O blood are 35 percent more susceptible to getting ulcers than those with type A, B or AB. If you are type O, you may want to pay attention to your lifestyle, especially your level of stress. STEP 3: Speak your mind. Learn to say how you feel without sounding harsh or being hurtful. Learn to use "I" statements like, "I feel ... ," rather than, "You are ... ." STEP 4: Avoid taking aspirin or other analgesics on an empty stomach. Don't drink coffee or take vitamin C on an empty stomach. Avoid highly acidic diets and pepper. Use common sense. Don't eat six pickles for lunch on an empty stomach. STEP 5: Have a test to see whether you have the helicobactor pylori bacteria if your family is prone to ulcers. STEP 6: Eat healthfully and drink eight glasses of water a day. Eating lots of high-fiber foods will keep your digestive system in peak performance. STEP 7: Exercise aerobically at least four times a week. Exercise reduces the harmful effects of stress and leaves you feeling relaxed and calm. but if in case there are other problems, much better you consult a doctor!

If you think you have an ulcer, your first concern should be going to see your doctor to have an upper EGD done to diagnose it and be put on a proton pump inhibitor (AcipHex, Prilosec, etc.) It could be an ulcer, it could be something worse, or it could be nothing at all.
If it is an ulcer and your doctor gets you on a good medicine, foods to avoid are: anything spicy, anything overly acidic (orange juice, tomato juice, etc.) alcohol, caffeine and smoking.
EDIT: As for what Tom said--not ALL ulcers are caused by bacteria--only some are. It's called Helicobacter Pylori (h. pylori, for short). This is why you need to have an EGD done. If he finds an ulcer, he'll take a biopsy of it and tell you if it's caused by bacteria. If so, a course of antibiotics and a month or 6 weeks worth of a PPI will take care of it. If it's not bacteria-related, then you'll have to take a PPI until it's healed completely--possibly longer than that. I'm taking AcipHex, and my doctor told me I'll probably be on it the rest of my life due to the fact that I'm prone to ulcers and this will prevent one from reoccurring.

Consume very less of spicy, tangy, & hot food. Instead of having a heavy lunch, dinner, or breakfast, divide your food consumption into distinct parts. Eat limited food at a time. To cure stomach ulcers, make a powder of dried raw banana and mix it with milk. drink it twice a day. Eat more of leafy-stuffs, avoid non-veg foods. Increase intake of cold things like watermelons, curd, buttermilk, cold milk, etc.

Ulcers are caused by a virus and can be cured with medication. Many people don't know that. It's only been in recent years that this has been proven. Talk to your doctor.

Regular hours of breakfast, lunch and dinner with snacks or milk during midmorning afternoon and bedtime are advised. Caffeine increases gastric acid and pepsin secretions. There fore, intake of tea or coffee is restricted to 2 cups daily. Acid beverages stimulate pepsin secretion. During the acute stage of ulcer citrus fruits, pineapple, grape, and carbonated beverages should be excluded. Sour foods, course vegetables, very hot and very cold foods should be best avoided. Banana is very good for ulcer patients.
