Bananas, Apples, Rice and Toast (for diarrhea)
Wheat bran (bran muffins), most veggies, All-bran (I use bran buds on yogurt-good snack), oatmeal, wholegrain breads, ground flaxseed (I make a smoothie with a spoon of flax in it--must be ground or whoosh right thru you), brown rice, brown pasta. These all have lots of "fibre" otherwise known as bulk.
AND LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER!!!!!! very important

I know it sounds strange to eat these things for diarrhea but it seems to work the opposite in regulating you and getting rid of the runs. You can use those Metamucil fibre like drinks but I'd rather use real foods.

Good Luck!!

Oh yeah, probiotics in yogurt are excellent for your digestive system and there are now alot of companies that have probiotics in their yogurts available in regular grocery stores.

Stay away from coffee, tea,(caffeine), high fat foods (fries etc), and often ice cream, and milk don't help at all.

Cheese..Cheese and more Cheese.
Plus, raisin bran cereal....wheaties, breads..high fiber,
whole wheat stuff. Avoid oil as much as posible..also try
a yogurt called Activia....for two weeks. Like once a day.
Your diareah should lessen for awhile. Then to stay regular,
maybe every other day..eat some. THat really helped me.
It might cause constipation ...if it does stop eating it...and
stick to high fiber eating once or twice a week. U prolly have
IBS....I dunno. Pills suck...try the natural way. But it won't
totally go away...cuase that is an imbalance in your intenstines......hope that helps. It does me....

Actually, you can take a fiber supplement. Just make sure the fiber supplement does not have stimulant, but on the food end. Anything that has whole grains like oatmeal, enriched breads also some veggies like broccoli will help too.
