I hope theres reincarnation. It would make it heaps more interesting.
Think about it. How boring would heaven get (if it exists) doing the same thing and having tobe NICE to everyone for eternity. ETERNITY. Id actually prefer to do something interesting. Burning in hell sounds a little better.
You do know, by the way, that reincarnation used to be in the bible but the control freaks got rid of it. People were getting uncontrolable, saying theyd fix it in theyr next life or whatever.

I don't personally think so, but know many people who do believe in the idea of reincarnation. I think its a beautiful idea for souls to meet over and over throughout eternity, and for us to have the opportunity to live several times, but I just don't think its true.
Deja Vu is a really interesting concept though.

De Ja Vu has nothing to do with reincarnation. It is more of a mish mash of thoughts your brain has had. Reincarnation is a nice concept though.

Yes, Otherwise you can not explain the seeming controversies of life. If you concede God as Justice, then the vexations and variations in life can at best be explained in the theory of reincarnation. When Newton found that every action brings equal and opposite reaction in respect of physical universe, why not it should be applicable to spiritual life also? God has given the power to discriminate and the choice were with us. Having acted based on the choice, it is inevitable that results follow us willy nilly even you incarnate any number of time.

If you are existing now, what makes you think that you were not before? Any thing which is here, is here to stay, though it may be in another form.
Water can change into steam, but its originality will remain always.
Can you think of water which is in your glass now, disappearing from the scene altogether one day?
And if you will be, you always were also.

Some people have had them. Buddha had tons.
Jesus didn't have any past lives though...he came directly from God.
There is no explanation which satisfies the newtonian paradigm of science though...just as there is no explanation of Love which is satisfactory to the newtonian paradigm either...so to substantiate such a belief it really has to be subjective/experiential.

This is totally not true. this belief come from the hindu and buddhism that we can be recycled through good or bad karmas. I don't believe that we can be recycled from the past. the reason why we feel we've been in the same situation before is that what we call the sixth sense on things. we became very aware of our surrounding. for some reason, our awareness became hightened and it could be because of many other reason. but i'd say again, reincarnation is NOT REAL

I really think so. ever meet someone, or seen a place and you swear that youve seen this place before or you have known this person forever, or have you ever really longed to go someplace, you feel comforted just at the thought of going there? I think that it may be because you were part of all that in a previos life.
