is it ok to mix up with another brand that has been already in the reservoir?

Any good quality ( valvoline, stp, kleen-flo) power steering fluid will do. You can also top up your reservoir with dexron transmission fluid which is also a hydraulic oil and is half the price.

When everything is normal it should not be necessary to fill this oil, leak?. Dexron III (any brand) should work just fine, but have a look in your book first.

yea, only honda has special steering fluid, just like ford has special tranny fluid, but who knows why it is different, it rele probly is all the same

Just make sure its RED
