Few lies make it a decade. How could one possibly survive centuries? You must consider that even records outside the Bible contain information about Jesus Christ, recent finds prove the existence of Pontius Pilate, PLEASE NOTE: WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE HAPPY WITH FAITH? MANY OF THEM, GOOD PEOPLE, And real Christians only want to SHARE WHAT THEY HAVE, NOT BEAT IT INTO YOU!!! Please understand I only want you to consider, this is not an attack, I care about all of you. You cannot be dragged into the family of God. You have to want it yourself, and I respect your choice either way. In peace.

You could make this exact same argument for Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, or any other mainstream religion. None of them were created yesterday, and all have undergone substancial amounts or criticism and attack. So since all of these religions must obviously have a god helping their attempt to conquest the world, I guess the real question is which god do you choose to believe in?

Religions are not lies....they are ideas/beliefs and emotional ones at that. An idea is neither true nor false....it is an idea and is easily perpetuated to others with the same needs and emotional mindset.

My religion has survived thousands of years of much more than criticism! Your kind cut down our sacred groves, desecrated our holy places, destroyed our temples, burnt our books of wisdom and burnt us! Yet we have survived as well....YOU christians do not have the monopoly on God nor on persecution.

Because religion truly is the opiate of the masses and ignorance is bliss. The untrue story of Santa Clause makes children very happy. This is a similar fable of hope that satisfies too many base fears for people to give up, so instead they insist that it's true. Why is it so easy for people to believe in magic!?

i have never understood how Christians can(the bilble beaters...that is the only book they have ever read) believe that God and Jeusus (or the concept) are the only and first ideas on the subject.
religion gives the masses a set of behaviors (don't kill, don't sleep with you neighbors' wife) that keep them in line.

Wonderful question! and i feel you as well are a brilliant mind! I feel the love inside! "T.H.U.G.S. don't die we multiply by the truth we have unfolded which radiates through the universe and eventually inspires even the blind believer to see past his own deception and enlighten his conscious eternal essence."

Well, I guess hundreds of mutually exclusive religions are all true, then.

How many of these christians are actually tolerant? Not very many, if the fuss over promoting monotheism using currency and the pledge is anything to go by.

“True Religion” is the original, uncorrupted set of practices given by the Divine Creator by which mankind is to obtain and maintain fellowship with God. Religion cannot be an invention of man if it is to be pure. If we agree on this, we must also agree that God is by definition, Perfect Love, Omniscient and Omnipotent, Unchanging, Righteous and Just, existing outside the constraints of time and space.

God, incapable of deception, would not reveal His expectations for mankind incompletely or errantly. This means that the original plan for mankind as revealed to him at his creation would be the basis for "true religion." We must also assume that the imperfect nature of mankind and all creation is necessary for the fulfillment of God's perfect plan. For perfection to be defined, it must be contrasted with imperfection. This imperfection - illustrated by mankind's choice to disobey God - was a result of free will. For mankind to follow the commandment to “love, honor, and obey” God, mankind had to be given the ability to choose not to obey.

Because of God's perfect nature, he cannot abide imperfection or disobedience. This shows us why God is so adamant about being approached in one particular well-defined way. We must be free from imperfection. Fortunately, God provided for our imperfection, requiring that we repent and offer something of great value to God before he would accept fellowship. To establish the need for a perfect and permanent sacrifice, God allowed mankind the opportunity to witness the shortcomings of imperfect, temporary sacrifices.

Once again, God provided for mankind by offering a perfect and permanent sacrifice that would be the means by which all of mankind could obtain and maintain permanent fellowship with God. This sacrifice was personified by the living God, Jesus Christ who shed his blood, as a perfect being, for the glory of God and the redemption of all mankind who willingly accepted this Holy Gift.

Jesus Christ was the "the first and the last," meaning that he was with God in the beginning and that no other future prophet would supersede his authority in Heaven or on earth. No other religion can lay claim to the doctrine of Divinity in appearing human form for the sole purpose of knowingly giving his life as a sacrifice for the salvation of all mankind.

Judaism has been at it a lot longer than Christianity; however, we're not busy trying to sell our beliefs to the rest of the world. If people are meant to find their way to something, they will; the rest is between them and God, and NOT up to you.
