Before i fell in love with my gal, i found her moderately preety. Not someone I would triple take on a normal day. When i fell for her, she became the most beautiful woman in the world. What causes this? Is there any scientific basis for this?

Yes, it's the love hormones. I forget what they're called though.

I've always loved this question.

After you fall in love, you stop seeing the minor imperfections, and start focusing on all the things you love about the girl.

Scientific basis, you see what you want to see. You love them, so you don't want to see their flaws.
Easier to understand version: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

Chances are because he sees beyond her superficial appearance and appreciates the beauty within her soul.

Ever talked with a person for a period of time without seeing them, then feeling a kind of love for them, and finding out she looks like Moe's sister?? You'd still love what within her spoke to your soul.

Good question. I guess it's like the more you are connected with a person, the more beauty you see inside and out in them. You may not necessarily think shes the most beautiful in the world, but she becomes your world.

because when u love a person, we see them in a way far from the physical attributes only... her innate beauty radiates through her personality, that's why people inlove tend to see the beauty which no others can see...

this is what true love is about, realising everything good and bad alike, (about the person you love) And you still love them anyway! so when men fall truelly in love, they accept everything bad and good alike about their partners and so, they are simply the best- period

You love her and therefore she is perfect in your eyes, even with her faults. Trust me, it's a good thing.
