Why in all the creation ideas is it your god doing the Intelligent design? Why is it never another person's god.
Don't you think that makes ID kinda a Christian idea, not a universal one?
And in Young Earth, why do you only use your history, why not any other religions histories?
I'm just saying, with your weird ambiguities, you could be wrong.

IDers never come out and say its their God, but since they are all Right-Wing Christians, its not that hard to figure out.

Intelligent Design requires their to be an intelligent designer ie MY GOD. The whole concept is a ruse to first establish that their must be an intelligent design (a statement which cannot be supported) and then claim that since their is an intelligent design the designer must be God.
Like all creationist ideas it is based on "common sense" and "obvious facts", neither of which have any basis. If it is obvious that there is an intelligent designer why is it not obvious who that designer is? Simply because there isn't one.

I agree. ID is cloaked Christian creationism.
For Christians - including those who promote young earth - the Bible is the Word of God & it is the only infallible record of the creation account. Othe religious traditions are either myth or simply a rehash of the true account in Genesis.

It's not their God, yet. They would never claim that until the day after the Supreme Court ruled that ID was science. Fortunately, billions of years from now, when the Sun is a burned out cinder, that day will not yet have come.

ID is nothing more than a political strategy created by the far right christians who are trying to take over the government and public education system.
anyone who simply believes that the universe was created doesn't care enough to try to overthrow evolution. they feel strongly because they believe in jesus and the bible and they take it literally.
they say evolution is "just a theory". it's a SCIENTIFIC theory. ID isn't even a legitimate theory, it's just a random abstract belief.
