I have been dating this girl for about 2 years and we'e very serious. The only problem is she wants me to ask her to prom in some elaborate romantic way. I am terrible with this kinda crap. This is our last dance in high school and I need some ideas on how to ask her.

Anything you see in the movies will work. A scavenger hunt is always cute. Write little clues, tie them to roses, and have them all lead to you, who is standing there with a rose, then be like "Will you go to prom with me?" Or you can always do the romantic outdoor picnic thing. Maybe even make a big banner for her and tie balloons to it.

this may sound dumb but get a box of chalk and go to your school (they will allow this if you ask) and write in REALLY BIG LETTERS *girfriends name here* will you go to prom with me? from *your name here* and in REALLY BIG LETTERS and do it on the sidewalk to school or something where everyone including her will see. someone did this at my school and it was such a big deal. all the girls were like "why cant you be more like him" and everyone thought it was sweet and totally romantic. the guy only knew the girls name and she said yes and didnt even know him! do it!!!

ok here are a couple of ideas...
1) get a plain shirt (doesn't matter what color) and on the front write.."will you go to prom with me?" on the top of the back write "WASH ME" then write a bunch of guys names in washable marker, and write your name in permanent marker...*when she washes the shirt, your name should be the only one left*
2) get a jar and put 100 pennies in it...write "i've wished 100 times that you would go to prom with me"
