Have you been living under a rock for the last 15 years?

Smoking Kills. It's on every cigarette packet sold in Australia, along with some really horrible photos of illness caused by smoking.

It contains chemicals like Benzine (Used in Paint Stripper) and Rat Poison.

"Every Cigarette is doing you damage."

Yes it is. It is one of the leading causes of lung cancer and respiratory problems. If you have never seen an end stage COPD patient on oxygen but still starving for air and so air hungry that they are frantic and there is nothing more that you can do for them...............think about this then don't smoke. The repsiratory problems from smoking are terrible to watch someone have to live with and eventually die from.

uh, is this a trick question or are you very young?
of course smoking is bad for you and people around you too. If you are considering starting please think about the cost of keeping up the habit, the smell, your teeth, your lungs, breathing, your future children, your spouse, the total addiction and slavery to the habit.

Also, research the ingredients in a cigarette, online.

What box have you been living in for the past 30 years? It has been advertised and reported on for a long long time that smoking can affect your health. In Australia we have very vivid pictures of rotting teeth, cancer infected lungs, operations on limp on packets of cigarettes to try to deter people from smoking.

Yes it is true. I'm kind of surprised you're asking this. Type in "effects of Tobacco" Or Tobacco + Health in your search engine and you'll find lots of info about specific effects... or look at the back of a package of cigarettes at the attourny generals warning.

NO. I don't think that is why I have C.O.P.D. I only smoked for 22 years like a damn fool. I really don't think that smoking could cause lung cancer either. Cigarettes doesn't have tar or nicotine in them either.

Is it true that the smoke contain tar?
Is it true that the smoke contain nicotine?
Is it true that the smoke contain toxic substances?
Is it true that smokers inhale them?
Then it is true that smoking is bad for you.
