Changing your oil is not a problem and not illegal. Disposing of the old oil might be both. Talk to a friendly service station about disposing of the oil.

No it not illegal, people build whole cars in their homes, why would changing oil be illegal. Are you from Nimbin? ; )

Not that I'm aware of.
But if you do not collect and dispose of the used oil appropriately, then it would definately be illegal.

no its not illegal to do that.. I don't know where that person got there info from? what they might be confused with is its illegal to tip is down the drain
