No, only your children would be covered & not your grandchildren. You can look into getting them a policy of their own. You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did.

Typically, pregnancy is an emancipating event. IE: the law assumes if you're old enough to make a baby you are old enough to assume financial responsibility.
You need to legally adopt the child to put the baby on your health insurance. Your daughter and her boyfriend need to get medical insurance on their own so the child is protected.

if you are legal guardians it is possible for baby to get on your health insurance. You need to call your health insurance company.

What about the baby's father.......he should be contributing to the upbring of the child. If he has health insurance he could provide the insurance needed

I sure hope your daughter will give the baby time to bond with her mom. Otherwise it will be very confusing. The baby will see grandma and grandpa as parents.

No. The only way you could claim the baby is if you were to adopt. Have your daughter check into medicaid though. They won't let a child go without medical insurance. Also, since your daughter is pregnant, have her check into medicaid for herself. Medicaid will cover what insurance doesn't.
