Okay, so let say one day..... somehow, evolution is rejected totally, the mere knowledge of it is banned completely.

So we'll never study genetics and things about passing on genes, because if evolution is not true, why study these things?

And then one day the AIDS virus just HAPPENS to change, if evolution was still around people would say that it evolved. But, since evolution is not true let's just say it just...change, just like that.

This new AIDS virus spreads like the common cold, it became an epidemic and pretty much everyone is screwed.

Could've done something about it if we have some knowledge in genes and genetics, could've increased our immune system, could've change the RNA of the virus,

but heck, evolution is false, so that's it.

Let our children die, let our grandchildren die, let the whole humanity die.

The end.

So what do you think of the story? ^_^

Good, humanity is a disease and it would not sadden me to know that we would not be here in 50 years.

I am not sure on what day God created the viruses. Logically it would have to be after he made man since the virus would need a host upon which to survive.
Possibly HIV is a punishment from God for being gay, a drug addict, needing a blood transfusion or engaging in sex outside of marriage. In that case he could have created it last Wednesday.
The same people who argue against evolution are the ones who leave Church and go and selectively breed their pigs to produce better or more bacon and keep a selectively breed blood hound to go hunting racoons in the forest. Logical arguments cannot effect the way that they think so why try?
The whole creationist thing is only believed by some southern USA baptist sects that know no better.

Studying genetics was never an issue TIED to evolution.

There is nothing wrong with studying how genes transfer or 'mutate' (if that's the term you'd like to use) to find a cure or to help mankind, even if you were a religious person.

The problem is with the basics that the theory of evolution stands on. "That everything on earth evolved from one cell".

It is part of religion to study, find cures, and even accomplish modernism, but not on the credit of believing in a theory that was (and never will be) able to be proved.

Science, technology, and all the different ways available, are there for mankind to use, and should be used to reach the highest points in this world. It's just not right to believe in something that isn't true.

That's my opinion.

Peace.

The Spirit of guy is the candle of the Lord. it's always general as experience of right and incorrect. it rather is the how and why that 4 year olds know that homicide is misguided. on the grounds that some people are too stupid to know appropriate from incorrect, enable me clarify for the S-L-O-W minded; God, who CREATED each and everything, is incapable of particular issues. God can not lie (Hebrews 6:18); he can not be tempted (James a million:13); and he can not quit to exist (Psalm 102:25-27). apart from, in basic terms as there is not any wrongdoing in contact if I make a clay pot and then smash it. The POT replaced into MINE; I CREATED IT, i can do WITH IT AS I SEE greater healthy. Likewise, the GOD who CREATED YOU, can repossess his creation at WILL, devoid of wrongdoing. the only reason which you're unfastened to entice your next breath is HIS GRACE. The Voice

Bird flu is a lot more similar to what you're describing. Public health officials are worried that it will mutate to allow human-to-human transmission.

But I guess since a creationists believes that only mutations harming the reproductive chances of an organism are possible, they aren't worried. One wonders then, how they think bird flu came to be in the first place.

Good Idea, lets just bring down modern medicine too, because God will spread cures from the heavens in the form of rain. Yeah stupidest idea ever.

this is completely off the point.

knowledge of science is a different topic. and i agree with science because God created science and he gave you that brain to us to think about it all.

evolution can not be proven by science. in fact, it cant be proven at all being how it just isnt
