I keep a very organized life but I'm so scatter brained. When I'm studying, I worry about not having enough free time. When I'm in my free time, I worry about not studying enough. When I'm with my friends, I worry about neglecting everything with myself. I worry about everything at all the wrong times! I can NEVER calm down.

I am not making light of your worries but we must remind ourselves that in other countries people worry about having enough food to feed their children, or if they will be put into a concentration camp if they speak out against their dictator. When ever I worry I try to remind myself how fortunate I am. There is always someone that has it worse and lacks the opportunity that we as Americans have. Take a deep breath and say to yourself "This too shall pass." Works for me. Good luck. L

Now for the first thing you need to quit right now saying that you can't, or never, or should of , could of would of, but, can't , won't, cause all of these are defending words that you are using against yourself. You need to change those never cans, to i can, you need to as they say it, stop that stinkin thinkin. You need to replace the negative words with positive words, like i can do this, i will over come my problems. Cause a long as you are using those words you are sitting yourself up for defeat. You have already lost the battle, by useing those negative words against yourself, what you need to do is change them to postive thinking and . l an then things will get better. The sooner you do this the better it for you and your friends. You will also become calmer with time, that you will have to learn to work on too, that is usually a relaxation problem, cause you keep your mind too busy with all that there worrying, which just cause a bunch of stress that you really do not need. Cause you have become one of those people that worry all the time about everything in there life. All that is going to do is brake down your system , so that you get sick a lot easier, and keep you wond up like a whin up toy, with a key in its back , and someone keeps whinning it back up. So you so need to relax and just kick back and listen to some music,, or go out with your friends, or just have some quit time, so nice and peaceiful. Other wise you are going to burn yourself out, and never be happpy cause nothing makes you happy any more, cause all you do is worry yourself sick, so if you can not do this along then i would suggest to go and see a therapist and work on these problems before they get any worse, cause i will tell you now they will get worse if you do not take care of it right now, and work on your issues, and i do mean work on them, not just go in and denie that you even have any, cause you would not be there in the first place if you did not have an issues, and you would not be having the problems that you are having. So go ang get the help you need, and do it real soon.

if ur not a muslim then first reason to it is the lack of Belief in ALLAH.even if u r a muslim u can suffer from such problm.its very common.it may b due to lack of contentment.if u r not satisfied with what u hav n still trying to b more relaxed with more facilities.then this problem can occur.i dont discourage hard work and finding the bst possible optons 4 urself.but i try to live with what u can easily accomodate but dont put urself in hadships.its the nature of man that he never satisfies and always remains in the search of "The Best".this makes him restless and woriied.but who controls this urge upto some extent relaxes himself somewhat.

I really know how you feel, I am so organised that I get fed up with myself at times about it. And I worry about the most stupid things and hate having my routine broken. But having said all that I have just learnt to live with it, and even though it has taken many years, and getting older, I am learning to settle myself down by just living one day at a time, and letting tomorrow take care of itself.

I'm not as bad as you, but I tend to "overthink" things. I have no problem with it because I come across the answer three times before I belive myself. If you find the answer you are looking for (even if it's three times), you have not waisted your crazyness.
