Well i know how to get abs but my real question is....How does a person prevent themselves from getting a "gut 6 pack". Thats the only way to describe it. When a persons stomach still bulges out but in 6 pack form. I've heard it has to do with no sucking in your stomach when you do abworkouts. I've also heard it is caused by doing ab workouts using heavy weights?

does anyone know what causes this and how to prevent it?

Getting abs requires a lot of hard work. There is no such thing as getting them fast. Those stupid TV gimmicks don't work.

Exercising daily (focus on ab exercises and at least 1 hour of cardio a day to get shredded abs) and eat properly (you need 1.5 -2g of protein per lb of body weight every day to help w/ muscle growth.) Drink at least 1 gallon of water a day. Cut out the junk food. Eat 5 meals a day, much smaller portions every 2-3 hours.

1. Go for running daily in d morning n in d evening.
2. Purchase a machine which is made only for ab. exercises like AB KING PRO.. n work on it as much as u can..
3. Go to gym n ask ur coach for other exercises of abs.
4. Do all exercises regularly, without fail.. Never miss it..
5. Hav sme control on diet, not to hav any oily food items or junk foods etc.
6. Eat more Fibrous foods like spinach, cabbage, carrots, turnip, cauliflower etc...
7. Hav fruit juice/mix veg. juice daily.
8. Drink atleast 8 glasses of water every day...

I wish I could give you half of my abs fast. That would do it. But, seriolsy it is hard and can take quite awhile. pilate ball sit ups. sucking in your stomach muscles all day long, make sure you are breathing right and doing the exercises right or you could make it worse,. just keep working at it . along with the rest of us and you will slowly see results. good luck.

You cannot get abs fast.Impossible.The first thing you have to do is EAT PROPERLY.Your stomach is designed to keep that layer of fat on it.For women this is very hard to get rid of.It takes a very low body fat percentage to have that 6 pack.Not just sit ups will work.
