This Questions about batteries people......

Batteries work by a chemical reaction inside the cell by mixing to corrosive materials together. whilst this chemical reaction is taking place, energy is produced, this either by way of heat or as in the application of a cell battery, by the use of two connections. The chemical reaction is slow and thus the decay is also slow, this gives rise to a shelf life, where the battery will eventually become flat. if not used within perhaps six months of production. Chemical cells or dry cells are disposed off and cant be recharged because they depend on a chemical reaction and that reaction has taken place, the chemical left, now neutral, is dead. to overcome this, there are lead acid batteries and Ni-cad batteries where the chemical is either liquid or semi-soluble, sandwiched multiple times between two metals. this allows the battery to be recharged until the metal has decayed.
