My sister and other people think I am but I don't think so.
I get angry at times, and I start shaking. Sometimes I do things that I don't even remember later on when I get mad. I get these feelings like I'm worthless, and sometimes I can't sleep. Also, sometimes I start crying, and I have no idea why.
What do you think???

Being "bipolar" is one of those terms that people attribute to a certain kind of behavior without even knowing what it means. In a medical sense, you certainly do not seem bipolar to me.

It's normal to have these feelings sometimes and maybe lose sleep once in a while, but if these feelings or the anger starts interfering with your daily life on a constant basis and it hurts your relationships deeply, you should talk to a psychiatrist and see whats up.

It's natural to get angry and feel sad, don't let people label you as mentally ill just because of that!

i think you should go get help. my son is bipolar and you described several of the symptoms. when he has an "episode" he starts crying, shaking and talking out of his head. his body gets tense and his eyes get a far away look. you can talk to him and you can tell he just isnt in there at that moment. later, he hardly has any memory of this, he will actually argue with you and say it never happened. he has never slept well, and now that he is a little older he gets the worthlessness feelings.
dont wait, its not your fault, there is no reason to feel like that any longer.

Well...

I would think that you are depressed or experiencing a hormonal shift.

If you were bipolar you would get a really low feeling like you feel like killing yourself, crying for hours, sleeping all day, etc... Then the next day you might have an opposite effect, you are very hyper, doing a lot of impulsive things, you feel invincible. If this description sounds like you, then you may want to see a psychiatrist, not a therapist.

I think you should talk to your doctor if you are concerned, rather than let people on here attempt to diagnose you! You sound like you have some things which would be good to talk through with someone you can trust or your doctor. Best of luck.

You have some of the symptoms of bipolar disorder, but the only person that can truly diagnose you is a trained psycologist. Be sure to see your doctor as soon as possible, for you do have problems that need to be addressed. Good luck.
