is it possible that in a relationship where the couple have a hiv + child the husband can be negative and the wife positive

Yes.
There are very many discordant couples where the husband could be HIV negative and the wife is Positive.

I have personally witnessed a couple of these couples in Uganda in Africa. Some of these couples were having unprotected sex before they found out that one of them is HIV positive.

There is a lot of research going on currently to investigate how certain individuals in rare occations seem to be protected from catching HIV. The study involves taking blood samples from couples where one partner is HIV-positive but their partner has remained HIV-negative despite being exposed to the virus at some stage.

you can prevent only your child from hiv possitive but if you have hiv you have to take treatment while you are perganant
so you can prevent your child from hiv possitive
