Be really careful with this.

Creatine supplementation may or may not work. Studies on it have been mixed, and current thinking on it is that it is overused among adolescents and shouold not be used by them because of possible adverse effects, as reported by the National Institutes of Health:

Pay particular attention to the material starting halfway down the page.

As you can see, there is no conclusive evidence that it really works. In some people it may work a little, but since it is an ATP precursor, if you already make enough creatine (and if you eat meat you probably do), taking more will have minimal effects if any. That's why it is not a banned substance.

If you decide to take it, take the recommended dose and no more. 25 mg per day is about six teaspoonsful (level, not heaping. If you heap a teaspoon, you're right at a tablespoon, which is three teaspoons). Anything more can be harmful.

Number 1 do not listen to anything they tell you at GNC.They work off of commission for their products.They do have some good stuff.Creatine Monohydrate is the best and it dosnt really matter if it's welfare brand or top of the line.It's all made the same.The delivery systems do differ though.If you want the best then buy Phosphagen HP from EAS.
