An older woman and I had a connection at one time, yet it almost seemed as if we couldn't (or even wouldn't) see if it could become something more, basically. Something always came up, and it's now in the past. What are your thoughts on this? Doesn't there seem to be a social stigma when a younger guy is seen with an older woman? What would an older woman's standpoint be?

This relationship happens a lot, but I dont think a lot of people advertise there ages so most others don't realise there is an age gap. I mainly date younger guys, not sure why, I have been doing it since I was in my 20's.
Age shouldnt matter, I go by mental age.. if we click and have things in common then I date them. I do have a limit though, I wouldnt date anyone young enough to be my son. The biggest gap I have is 15 years and that relationship is still going after nearly 2 years.
If your relationship ended with the older women there was probably more to it then just age.

I dated a younger man and it wasn't the age that matter, but he was insecure about my intelligence. His is avg. and I'm smarter then the avg bear, but he had the most incredible body (I digress). A relationship has to have a mutual compatibility in all aspects. If she is young at heart and he can over look a few crows feet it shouldn't matter.

Well age should not matter, age is just a number... What your tru feeling points is what matters... but alot of older females are worried about what is said about them, so they are careful who they ar seen with..
