Like, would it be easier to carry someone sitting on your shoulders, or have them ride on your back?

I always carry my kids on my shoulders. It's easier because it frees up your arms. It also puts the weight more in line with your center of gravity.

ride on your back- the weight of the person would be better proportioned to your body where as on your shoulders- all the weight would be on your shoulders.......my the crazy things you hear about at 2 AM
