I agree with you. It is so sad with what is happening to OUR country. It just truly annoys me when they play the MINORITY card. Unfortunately, in America, the AMERICANS are the minority.
I do have to comment on an answer that was left earlier. about how we end up better off in the long run. NO WE DON"T. You don't see us getting a new car, a new home, and a job just handed to us do you? We all work our tails off everyday to sometimes just to pay the bills, because well all of the high paying jobs were givin' to the illegals.
Now, i really don't see how that is being considered us coming out on top.
And for them getting jobs that only pay little to nothing, oh and are having to be a maid to the rich and be treated how ever, that cuz they know they have to take it cuz they are ILLEGALS. They have to or they get deported. Which is no big deal cuz they will just swim or jump a fence again and do it all over. But the next time they will decide to move further north and work for a certain company, cuz that is all this company hires to build their stores, and kidnap some girl and get caught. But guess what, because they are ILLEGALS, they get a slap on the wrist, get sent back to Mexico, and do it all over again. Is anyone seeing a vicious cycle here. cuz its truly getting really sickening. SEND THEM ALL HOME AND GIVE AMERICA BACK TO THE AMERICANS!!!!

The fact that many American companies are outsourcing jobs is not the fault of illegal immigrants. CEOs and managers need to reduce costs in order to have profitable businesses. Therefore, they move certain processes or departments to overseas locations where labor or materials are cheaper. In certain situations, such as call centers, they have moved them to places like India, not only because it is more cost-efficiente, but because the quality of the service is better.

People who simply want immigrants to leave the country and stop taking jobs are ignorant and in desperate need of an economics course. I do agree, our government needs to come with a better solution for the illegal immigration issue. However, these immigrants come to the US and take jobs mostly in the service, agriculture and manufacturing industries. Most Americans do NOT want to do these jobs. How many people are willing to go and pick oranges under the hot sun for much less than the minimum wage? These immigrants are essential for our economy and whoever can't see why should consider the monetary effect. If the companies who employ illegal immigrant starts hiring Americans, paying the minimum wage and all of the additional benefits the cost of producing goods go up. And who will end up paying for the higher price? Oh, yes that would be all of us, the consummers.

The issue with the health system is another "crisis" created by the media. Illegal immigrants are only a drop in a bucket of an inefficient healthcare system. The majority of people who cause the problem are uninsured US citizens.

And imagine the many more corporations who will ship out when we deport all those illegals....?

The economy follows a somewhat regular pattern of expansion and contraction. The economy will typically expand steadily for 6 to 10 years and then enter a recession for six months to two years. The point where the recession begins is known as a peak, and the point where it ends as known as a trough. Following the trough, the economy expands again toward another peak. Economists call the period of time between two peaks a business cycle.

You sound like chicken little, the sky is not falling....Every economy no matter how healthy or unhealthy, will experience some sortof recession, its the "what goes up, must come down" theory...

You forgot to mention how Honda and Toyota are thriving in this country, it has nothing to do with legal or illegal immigration, but rather, competition.....THEY MAKE A BETTER PRODUCT, than American car companies.....And thats the real truth!

All the pro's claim the illegals are not stealing jobs, they are only taking the jobs the U.S. workers refuse to do.
Well if there were not any illegals then the employers would be forced to pay a living wage to the U.S. Citizens. To say "would you work in a field for $2.50 an hour" is just plain stupid, but as long as someone else will we have no chance at making these employers pay better wages. So the illegals are killing our economy, they are not helping it.
But do you really think Joe smoe the corporate millionaire who lines the pockets of our Government officials cares, hell f-ing no! They care as much as an oilman and a Haliburton executive!
Our Government Officials need to wake up and realize if they don't listen to the legal Citizens of this Country they will start a war. Instead of fearing if they don't help the illegals the illegals will start a war. Because most U.S. Citizens are getting sick and tired of this illegal bullsh*t! If the U.S. Government won't do anything in the name of its people they will leave it up to its people, and trust me they really don't want that either.
And I am not afraid of these damn illegals and LaRaza, and Jose Angel Gutierrez threatening to wipe out the "gringos". For every one illegal who threatens my life I will take out at least 100 of them all on my own.

Illegal aliens are destroying this country. Besides all the job issue you mention there are huge problems with our schools and health care. Identities are stolen. Diseases are brought into this country that had been almost eliminated due to immunization. Crime and drugs have increased. AND Illegal aliens don't pay taxes! They are sponging off the taxpayer and it must stop.

Amnesty rewards people that are breaking the law. Pro-illegals say "they having committed any crimes." WRONG! They are committing a crime just by being here.

till Mexico--and Mexicans--strengthen a pair and undertake the needed finanancial, legislative and social reform to take their us of a decrease back from their corrupt politicians, then this insanity will proceed. Their complacency and cowardice is making this a US concern. yet they might desire to stay in Mexico and fasten Mexico's issues. If no longer them--then who? Exporting their themes to the U. S. is unacceptable. strengthen a pair and manage it.

I agree. I think that all companies who get any kind of tax credit or cut should be barred form down-sizing dramatically for as long as they get the perks from the community they are based in. Personally, I think that Haliburton should lose all of their military contracts effective immediately for moving to Dubai.

Illegal immigration is dragging this country into the realm of a third world country. Legal immigration is a boon, however.

Illegal immigration caused unemployment due to many immigrants fighting it out for jobs. Llow salaries abound because employers tend to admit illegals for low pays. Drug addiction increased due to flow of drugs across the border. Crime rate jumped because of unemployment caused by immigration.
