How to remove permanent 5 o'clock shadow from face?

Question

I have pale skin and a moustache impression which won't go away no matter how close I shave. It doesn't look good and I was wondering if there is a way to remove it or blend it in? I'm male so make-up isn't the answer.

Normally what I do is shave with nothing but down strokes of the razor. Of course when I'm done my whole face is a constant shadow so what I do is reapply shaving cream then shave again using nothing but up strokes. It works great for a clean shave or shaving around goatees & etc. Good luck!

Are you interested in getting laser hair surgery? This is a pretty permanent solution, so I don't know if you want to say goodbye to your facial hair forever. But if you do, its great because you also get all ingrown hair taken care of.

Have you tried a shaver with many (say 5) blades. You know how they say "Then next blade shaves even closer x5" Failing that, maybe you could try Veet hair removal.

How about growing out your moustache? You're a male, maybe it's time to get used to facial hair.
