Lets get a car, and take off, for some alone time... maybe he is not getting enough alone time with you, or he just ants to take off for a weekend to spend some quality time with you..

I think its up to you to find out what he means, how long have you known him, what do you know about him, can you trust him, he maybe interested in you or your body, so let rent a car and go some where, could mean a lots of things.
