Women want a strong provider. Having muscles shows on the outside that a man can protect his woman. Then again, muscles aren't the only characterisitc of being a good provider. Being rich or prestigous works too. Those people usually have woman flock to them, even if they're scrawny and ugly.

It's different reasons for different women. Want the opinion of a 25 yr old woman, It's nice when a man has enough muscles to show when he is picking up the groceries or working on his car, but when he can't put his arms down to his sides because he has worked out so much that he's all lumpy and you can see all of his vein's, that is gross.

I like muscles b/c they make men look masculine. I would like the muscles of my man even though he wasn't a body builder or anything like that, but he had enough to make me feel safe when hugging me. It's sexy b/c is masculine. I think I would like his muscles (arms especially) the most of my man, besides his eyes, hands, chest, back...o my
Oh, but I like his inside better than his looks. HIS MIND AND HEART COME FIRST. His personality and his treating me like what I am..a lady.. would make him even more sexier to me.

I don't care for what a man lookz like. As long as he treatz me right and lovez me I am fine. I could careless if I was stronger. body builder or all fat. huge 'thing' 2 small 'thing'. I don't give a freak!! as long as my heart desirez their and they desire my heart. and to tell you the truth I don't know why women like musclez. Then again I am a bit on the werid side ^.- Well anyway I think it might have to deal with if a girl needed protection that her 'super man' would come to the rescue and then they get married (I am adding the next part for laughz sake no offence any1!!! do not harm me I am trying to make this fun) then they do 'it' and since he is strong she getz knocked up then the girl startz gaining wait while carring the baby and then super man sitz around drinking beer and getz a beer belly and then the girl dumpz him> The end (ok now back 2 question srry I could not resist) it also has to deal with image this socity carez more about image then the ppl. Your question can be somewhat solved if you ask "why do men like women skinney?"

muscles have never been a turn on to me. you have to have other stuff to go with it. you may have big arms, but if you are a shithead, who cares?
women who are just turned on by that are either very shallow or just a little weird...
