none of you all know what you are talking about it is legal and they will do it its already happend in a couple of states it just takes time you watch i know what i am talking about i work for the government i hear things so you all quit acting like you know what your saying when you say its not legal and bull **** like that

No, it's definitely not true. Driving restrictions vary from state to state. However, many states have what is called a "Graduated Drivers License, or GDL." And other states are quickly adopting this. Basically, this means that a 16 year old can obtain a drivers license but the license has restrictions. These restrictions may include: Operating only allowed during certain hours (6am-11pm), limited number of passengers under age 21, and the license may be suspended immediately if the GDL driver is found to be in violation of traffic laws. Check your state laws for more info.

This is a good idea and those that are driving at 16 and 17 know honestly that they know at least one person this age that should not be driving. You know that one that risks others safety for a good time because they are young and dumb.

Not possible, in the agricultural states, such as South Dakota, and surrounding areas farming families depend on their kids being able to get themselves somewhere. Imagine driving your kids to all their activities and whatnot and farming. Not going to happen.

i live in kansas, who is one of the few states to allow 14 year olds to get their permit and 16 year olds to get their license...in 2009 all drivers licenses can only be obtained by 18 yearolds and older...thank God im not that young...that would have sucked!!!!
