One of the best things about a mystical experience (not clouded by religious views) is that it allows you to feel completely connected to everyone and everything. That I think is the most spiritual experience I have ever had.

Does your religion do this for you? Does it do the oppisite? I know within Christianity for example, it can do both depending on what verses you focus on for your personal spirituality.

When people talk about other Religions as if they know the truth.. it can separate people. When people are free to discuss Religion as if we all have a right to believe what we believe without the "I am right.. You are wrong" attitude it can bring us all together.IF We could be learning about others beliefs instead of always defending our Religion....that would be beautiful to me.

I am not sure about "your" religion but mine keeps be connected on many levels. Some may call it religion but you also may call it spirituality. I am happy with what i believe in and I have the right to feel that way just like everyone is entitled to believe in what works for them. There is no right OR wrong belief. As long as we don't try to shove one another's religion down their throat, we should be ok.

both. spirituality is not the same or even in the same realm a religion, that is like comparing sex/ food/ moeny and religion. Although many put those things unwisely before God. I am VERY spiritual and also have a religion. Chritianity is not against spirituality at all.
Spirituality deals with your spirit. Religion deals with what your physical body DOES.

Well with Christ, people were either for him or against him. There is no middle. With a true mystical experience, you feel that connection with God,( though in a much deeper way) more than with others. Also, for christianity, personal spiritualty can grow when you serve Christ through others.
