help me read this girl!!!!!?

so i met this girl not long ago. we are in different grades, so we dont have any class together. the only time we see each other is in the hallway, but sometimes she ignores my presence by avoding eye contact even tho she knows that i am RIGHT THERE. however, almost every night, she ims me to talk, sometimes for hours, sometimes just to say hi. i asked her to the prom in a cute/romantic way, and she said yes to it. so i doubt shes not interested in me at all. is it because shes nervous around me? shes a pretty outgoing person from my observation tho, cuz shes very loud and talkitive around her friends. so can someone please explain to me what is going on? thx

i did ask her to hangout several times, buh she gave me all kinds of excuses. although they were pretty legit from what i kno and found out, buh still if u like someone, dont u usually make an effort to spend time with him/her

From what you said at first it seems like that maybe she's a little shy around you. The part about her not making a effort to see you worries me. If she talks to you online for hours then I bet she is just a shy person. You should just talk to her and ask her straight up how she feels and you should tell her how you feel also.

Yes you do. It is puzzling though because she knows she will be seen with you if yall go to the Prom together unless she is planning on backing out if someone else ask her out. If I Liked someone and they treated me Like I did not exist around other people, I would not want to be with them at all.

Alot of times people act alot diffrent when they are near someone they don't know how they feel about, she's loud and boistrous around her friends but when she gets around u she acts alot diffrent apparently. Though if she talks to you in a more comfortable place (I.M.ing) since it's not face to face it's alot easier to be open. I think you have a good chance though.

you're in highshool and in different grades. if she is older than you then she doesn't want to be seen with younger guys especially by her friends. if she is younger than you usually a girl would showoff her older boyfriend. if you're not that good looking and her friends expect more of her then she just doesn't want to be seen with you in PUBLIC. maybe she is just waiting for the right time (at prom) to show you to her friends.
