I've made Kraft mac & cheese without milk before, and just added a little extra butter than I normally did. It's thicker than usual, but it tastes fine.

It's perfectly fine to make it without the 1/4 cup milk, but using a larger amount of butter could make it a bit saltier, depending upon what kind of butter or margarine you use. Just be careful when mixing it in... perhaps you should test the consistency with a spoonful or two first, then add water or butter to taste...

Is it the one that has the powder cheese? If so, just add water instead. It won't taste any different, but the cheese sauce may be a little thicker or thinner.

You could use cream or canned evaporated milk. Also, you could just use water and put in a little extra butter (it just won't be as rich and creamy tasting).

I've made it without milk or butter lots when I've been camping. It's still as tasty as ever, just a little less creamy. I say go for it!

You need some kind of substitute for the milk.
I substitute Coffee Mate powdered Coffee Creamer in place of Milk.
This works for me.

I just use more butter. I do this when I don't have any milk in the house.

If you have any kind of canned tomatoes, salsa or chili you could add that. It is a nice change & adds a bit of veggie to your diet ( guess that should technically be fruit).

Sounds like it would work. Maybe a tad more butter, or creamer and a bit of water.
