If I am not mistaken "Gigil" is a Tagalog word. I could not find an exact English word for it. "Gigil" means an intense emotion, urge or feeling.

"Nang-gigigil ako sa galit" means "I am really mad and could barely hold back my anger.

"Nang-gigigil ako sayo" means "I have an intense urge or emotion towards you." This might be taken negatively, such as anger or you are attracted to the person.

"Nang-gigigil ako sayong kagandahan" means "I have an intense emotion towards your beauty".

you can pronounce it like..

Gee-gill.

The letter /g/ is pronounced. The same way you pronounce the letter on words like gravity or gratitude. The second syllable (gill) is the same. Like the part if a fish..

It's the inconceivable urge to pinch or touch something is "gigil".

"Gigil" in Tagalog {Batangas} may mean as 1. (noun) a kind of cognitive bias in which morons suffer illusory superiority over others. or 2. (verb) when that moron (defined in 1) put that illusory superiority in action.
