Yes and yes. Soon Iraq will be a Christian nation too. Next we'll Christianize Iran.

The war in Iraq is not a a religious conflict but a conflict between countries(US and Iraq) A religious war is spiritual war not a war on country to country or person to person. You should know this. While it is true that most of the soldiers who were sent to the war are Christians, it does not mean that it is a Christian war.

The soldiers are only obeying the law regarding their duties in case of war from country to country. That is the nature of work in the government. They should not be blame nor Christians should not be blamed.

It is God who could say whether the dead marines will go to heaven or not. We are not bound to judge. No authority to judge.. If someone will judge them, it is against the words of God in the bible. So take it easy. Don"t ever try to judge them.

All three of those words are contridictory and mutually exclusive.

"Good Christian": I suppose they COULD exist, but I have yet to meet a Christian that wouldn't punch me in the face with brass knuckles if they thought it would convert me to their religion.

"Christian War": Christians are supposed to obey the Ten Commandments (though few do), which includes "thou shalt not kill", therefore no war can be Christian. A war can be holy, however; waged in the name of Christianity by corrupt officials with no intent of following Christian values themselves.

"Good War": Although a war can be started with good intentions in the hopes of improving something wicked, war itself is an evil act. There is no reason for thousands of innocent people to die fighting for a cause that they may not even believe in.

As for whether or not the Marines will go to heaven: no. This is not because they are bad people (they most certainly are not), but rather because IF heaven and hell exist, everyone that dies is going to hell. You, me, our mothers, the Pope (especially the Pope); we're all headed to hell. So I'll see you guys there! (If it exists)

At this point, it seems like the war in Iraq is becoming a oil/control of the Powers War. This is just an opinion of one.

No war is good, but 'Christian'? They've been at war with everyone else for nearly two thousand years.

I know it's not relative, but for years, a 'dead marine', here in Australia, was an empty beer bottle. With due respect for the kids sent to war without anything more than food and ammunition, in an area of a totally different and intense culture, we've dropped the name.

No war is good and Christian. The good and the Christian are those who fight in that war because they have good and Christian principles to uphold, and because they are trying to do good and keep God's commandments. Anyone who fought in Irak (or in any other war) for a reason different than that, will simply not go to heaven (according to Christian dogma) because they killed, and to kill is a deathly sin. The only way to avoid hell being a killer, is to have been forgiven by God, and for that, each individual must repent and plead for His mercy.

only the repentant will get into the city of God in heaven.
criminals go to hell.
i never believed the war is a good christian war, i have believed before i ever heard of alex jones, that people who go to war to serve the aluminati or the build a burger or the one world government are not serving God.
Although a one world government would be good, it all depends on who holds the crown, and if there is a constitution of freedom, and seeing that THE BUSH family was closer to being a Nazi, than christian, and the bohemian grove is not a place to worship God, but a false demon.

it's not a christian war. lol. you said it as if it's like a crusade from the olden times, that the main reason the war broke out was because Christians wanted to convert the muslims in Iraq.

Now let me ask a question, will those who in their twisted mind, twisted the real meaning of the Jihad, and committed suicide bombing and the like, killing innocents, please Allah?

I thought the Jihad, as the sixth [unofficial] pillar of Islam, is like a protection of the faith against those who disgrace it. Now who is disgracing whose faith?

And about the war in Iraq,... just like most Christians, we wished it to stop. Peace is never gained by war. War will only deepen the hatred and make the differences more defined.

Even after Vietnam, after Hiroshima, they still have to learn,... will history keep repeating itself?

good christian war is an oxymoron. The idea of a war based on religion is utterly retarded. however, if you were to have asked just "good war." then no, it's pointless, there's nothing over there and never was. They now have no idea what they're trying to do any more and are just wasting resources.
