How do you handle living in the Jersey suburbs? I think I would lose my will to live.
And the way you cope with this is to take so much medication that you are going bald!

Well, you just get used to it. While it is crowded, the best thing about the city is the large and wide variety of people here. There are people of all colors, sizes, shapes, ethnicity, cultures, and backgrounds. Most importantly, NYC has the most beautiful women in the world!

It takes some getting used to the crowds, especially in the "touristy" areas such as Midtown Manhattan and Times Square, but there are many parts of the city less traveled and "hidden" places where there is not so much density.

The "outer boroughs" have a rich diversity of life and are not as crowded. There are plenty of places to visit (if a tourist) that have not been overwhelmed by the crowds. Plenty of places to hang out and enjoy yourself with food, drink, and partying if you are coming over from New Jersey as well.

A city is crowded...I mean, it's a city. It is its nature to be crowded and busy after all. I never had a problem with it when I was in NY nor any other city I have lived in. Crowds have never really bothered me, although at Christmas time it can get pretty bad. I also like country - just not the suburbs (sorry) My only problem with NY was apt size :)

Gotta agree with the poster above... I don't know how people deal with life in the 'burbs.

Dunno, I've never lived anywhere else. Sometimes it's a pain. Most of the time it's great.
