Cold calling is the most difficult. When selling in person, it is easier to gauge the interest of the prospect. People usually display their interest through their body language and eye contact.
On the telephone, however, the seller is left guessing - especially, if the person at the other end does not ask questions.

Competition wid others who have same n better product n minimal cost .it is hard to sell when the buyers have too much of selection options. A gud salesman can sell his product at any cost .There is difficulties n every business , importand is u should know ur way out!!

sorry i don't agree with the guy above me. i think STUPIDITY is the hardest part of selling. i love to say i like rejections cuz the more rejections i get, the more sales i get too, right? 10 no's and 1 yes? something like that.
