In other countries it depends on their culture, moral and values and the bringing up of the community as a whole. Whereas in India basically love starts with an idea to get married with the lover and then settle in life but not spend time as a joke or have sex. So, India 90% with a view and strong feeling do love and then marry each other.

i don't think that's a very good estimate, but people in india marry their lovers mostly due to family & what they want & not really what the individual wants.

indians are very family orientated & the only way they see it is if you get married only then can you extend a family.
it's also about pride & honour of the family involved therefore you wouldn't see people in india having more than one lover & not marry them

not many people see it that way!

Whether India or any place in the world, true lovers always get married and remain married till death....If there is no true love between partners, arranged marriage also head for separation...

R u sure with that cos even from yahoo answer u can see many indian lovers don't end up at the alter. many get ditched cos many of thier partners are being "forced" into arranged marriage. Better go and check your facts. Har kisiko pucho geh toh woh yehi kahega ke mera desh mahaan so don't quickly point fingers to other countries or culture
