My sisters friend has been dating a 40year old for about 5years now and shes 20. I believe age is just a number and if you truely love each other than things will work out

Very slim, for several reasons:
(1) These people are at very different places in their lives, so for their lives to align for an extended period of time is overwhelmingly unlikely. It would require the younger person to live as though they were 20 years older, or the older to live as though they were 20 years younger. This is possible, but unlikely to work out ultimately.
(2) People that far apart in age can't usually relate to each other as well as people closer in age, because common mind sets and experiences are what allow people to connect. There is likely to always be a foreign-ness between the two that hinders their relationship.
(3) Family and friends often disapprove, which is not a reason to not have the relationship, but it adds additional strain that can make things more difficult, and if there are other problems in the relationship this will make things much worse.
Only you can decide if a relationship is right for you, but statistically a relationship like this is not very likely to work out, so if you're not already in it, you may want to rethink it before you get into a place where it would be very painful for you if the relationship failed.

Not very good, sorry.
I'm turning 40 this year and I wouldn't go near that generation..too different on too many levels. Not good or bad, just different.
When I was 30, I dated a 19 year old and a 39 year old.
That was much easier and more fun than what you're attempting.

I'm 49 yrs old and a nurse, my husband is 85 and a lawyer. We have been married for 26 yrs and are more in love than the day we met. Age doesn't matter unless your a minor, it's what u love in the other person's heart and brain. We are so different that it makes us click. He still looks about 60, hell I look older. Love her mind and heart. What goes around comes around. U must care or u wouldn't have ask the question.

if she is fridig they have very good prospectd. in all other cases they will part very fast - he can't be her sex partner if she is normal
