If you are supposed to wear a mouth guard you do need to wear it. The only way to really know if you grind you teeth would be to ask someone who has seen you sleep but the dentist is obviously able to tell by the looks of your teeth that you grind them. Wear the mouth guard and protect your teeth and the veneers you paid so much money to get.

ERICK,

THERE IS A WAY TO MAKE A NIGHT GUARD FIT MORE COMFORTABLY. AS THERE ARE HARD ONES, SOFT ONES AND COMBINATIONS. HAVE THE DENTIST MAKE YOU AN N.T.I. BRUXISM APPLIANCE THAT WILL TOTALLY PREVENT YOU FROM GRINDING.
THIS IS A VERY GOOD WAY TO PREVENT YOU FROM GRINDING AND CHIPPING THE VENEERS.

Why are you asking us?? Why pay the dentist if you don't want to listen to his advice based upon his experience?
