On that note, has anyone ever considered that alot
of people may be "unconsciously" killing themselves.
Ie: smoking, drugs, eating crap, not exercising enough or
at all, drinking too much. All these things can and will
kill you!! My self for example I have diabetes, I know what
I should eat and not eat BUT I eat awful anyway, I know it will
eventually kill me, but I do it anyway. Could you not say in a sense I'm killing myself (or commiting suicide) just it will take longer.
Just an idea I've thought about before

I disagree that the only people who kill themselves are selfish pricks. Sometimes people don't see the light at the end of the tunnel and feel so isolated and lonely when no hand reaches out to bring them out of the depression. There is also illness, not just mental but physical. I can't believe it is wrong for someone with a painful terminal illness to commit suicide. It is better to have a short, relitively painless death than a long, drawn-out, very painful death. But statistically you are much more likely to die of heart disease ( # 1 killer in the US, than you are of suicide)

Thats stupid and you have a problem you need help,more than you can get here.If you ever lost a loved one to suicide you wouldnt even be saying that.I lost a child to suicide and it is a very bad way to go and worse for the peopleit leaves behind the pain never goes away. GROW UP and GET HELP

That doesn't mean everyone will die of suicide .it's not worth it.It's a temporary problem in certain cases.I wish my son's father was here.but he took the easy way out.and left 3 boys behind for us mothers to explain to them WHY
