The side of my filling chipped a little maybe 10% of my filling. The thing is the side where it came off theres a pretty big hole there, maybe a cavity hole. What I'm wondering is my original cavity was in the middle. Why is the hole on teh side now? Does anyone know?Did the hole grow or is it a new hole?

it may be where they had to drill. I had one on the side like that fall out in oct. I just let it go. On fri I woke up with that side of my face a balloon. It was an abscess and hurt, it still does. I had to have an emergency root canal and it is still bulging, so my advice don't let it go.

It sounds like a cavity after the earlier filling. Hurry, have it looked at by the dentist and hope the tooth can be restored.

Only your Dentist will know for sure. It looks like you'll be seeing him- shortly. :)
