They like crack heads/losers/criminals/guys who beat them and treat them like crap. They put more energy into communicating with these people than the ones who treat them like a person. Then they sabotage relationships with good guys.
Are they mental? What is the fastest way to tell which women these are without wasting too much time getting to know them.???

Some girls like these types of guys because they think they are cool or that its good for there image to be with someone like that.
The bottom line is most people will pick a partner like that because of there past.
People who were raised in a family with an alchoholic mother or father or an abusive mother or father will find a partner like that.
Its a cycle,and unfortunatly most people dont see it until its too late or they just dont understand why this happens and dont know how to break the cycle...
Example - my father was an alcoholic and my mother was an abuser,I was married for 15 years to a man that was an alcoholic and an abuser.
my x husband grew up in an abusive home there for he was an abuser.
he didnt see the cycle and to this day doesnt believe it...
Sometimes when someone gets into a relationship like that and they can see the pattern they try to get out but the other partner can be controlling.
these people arent mental,but they do need help to see the pattern and to break the cycle

I don't think its a matter of love as much as being scared that there is nothing else out there for them...Women that are abused have very low self esteem even if they didn't in the beginning of their relationship eventually they start to think something is wrong with them, because why else would someone want to treat them so badly. It is a very difficult road to travel and so many judge women for staying in an abusive relationship but have no idea of how they really feel..Go to a woman's abuse shelter and just listen to some of the horror stories they tell and you will start to understand a little more of their feelings..

Most of the time it comes from something in her childhood. More than likely her father didnt give her the right attention..Or in some cases gave her the wrong attention. This builds up a lack of self confidence. They figure being around the roughnecks is a way to feel secure. In a way they are trying to find a relationship with somebody that closely resembles thier father though they do not notice it.

To me it seems that men like women that cause alot of drama. I'm a woman looking for a man that isn't like the ones you described. I think the people that are in those relationships are both mental. The easy way to tell is by her confidants, her family, manners, speech, etc.

They think that they can help them become better people and they feel sorry for them. Sometimes, women don't think they are good enough for good guys. You need to enter into their life before this happens.
A lot of the loser guys pay more attention than regular guys. So, if you really like a girl, pay attention to her! Don't let us doubt you.

I don't know why. You don't know why. They don't know why. It is a fact though. 90% of all women think they want a nice guy, but when they find one they drop them like a bad habit. most girls like jerks. Its sad but true. If you cant beat em join em! I use to be a lonely nice guy. Now I'm a jerk and I cant keep the girls off me!

actually not ALL women like that kind of stuff..it's just some women have been abused for such a long period of time they don't know any other way to be treated and they need counseling and I'm not sure on how to tell them apart besides low self esteem and self destructive behavior.

yes, any person who lets another person so control them through fear and intimidation is having a severe mental problem. its hard to break away as they are probably co-dependant and need professional help to break the cycle of abuse
