Oh yea sounds like you want to give her a little bit more than a pen haha

You could present her with the gift and a card thanking her for all the extra effort she has put in to instructing you. That should express your appreciation without making her think that its a come on.

I would be worried if the gift were something of a more intimate nature, but a nice pen is a wonderful gift for a teacher and it would be hard to read something sexual into it.

Its all about the maturity level of the woman! She is 25 and your 49 she may be interested but chances are she may be not! There is nothing wrong with a thank you gift just make sure you get a card that says thank you! Dont add any extra flirrtations involved and you will be safe!

Speaking form the viewpoint of a 32 year old woman, I think that would be very thoughtful. If you get the vibe that she might like you ask her out on a date. GOOD LUCK!!! I

Nope..
You need to think about giving her something a lot more
impressive than a cheesy ink pen...
Perhaps something with diamonds , rubies, emeralds etc.......Bracelet / earrings / necklace etc...

Dont do anything. The fact that you are asking this question means that you are already lying to yourself about your own intentions. Just be polite, say thank you when you mean it and appreciate her work. Your learning and appreciation are more than enough.

If you're wierd about it, then so will she. If your honestly giving it to her as a kind gesture, and not as a come on... then it will be fine. Search yourself first. I have a feeling you are asking this question because you know the answer.

a simple thank you would do just fine. if you bought her a gift, she might think your wanting a lil more then just saying thanks..
