So i used to weigh like 95 pounds but then when i joined track i started gaining weight. I thought it was because i was also eating more, but i burn A LOT of calories in track, that didnt make a lot of sense to me. then i remembered that muscle weighs more than fat so do u think that could be why? I just dont get it.

yes. you've probably burned fat and gained muscle, which means you actually look more toned now and slimmer than before, even if the scale says more.

Don't go off the scales! If you are concerned, take your measurements every once in a while, they will be more accurate than the scales. It is likely you've put on muscle, which is great, it will help you burn fat. Just make sure you are eating healthy and you should be fine!

your horrible. OH NO 6 LBS! and your athletic so you know you cant be fat. 101lbs? Sounds like you have an eating disorder if you think your fat and only weigh 101. Your perfectly fine. Could gain a few Im sure.

You are not fat!! Trust me.
Your weight went up because you started gaining muscle weight, and losing fat.
And you're right.. muscle weighs more than fat!
