I'm a 19 year old student in the USA right now, doing my bachelor's degree and I am here on an F1 visa. However, my F1 visa time period will run out after 4 years and I would like to get my Master's degree too. Can I get an extension of my F1 visa? I wanna know what I have to do. Thanks.

You need to talk to your international student advisor. It doesn't matter if your visa expires, since a US visa is only for entrance into the US. If the I-94 card in your passport is marked "DS" then you are allowed to stay as long as you remain a full-time student at the same school. You only will need to apply for a new visa if you leave the US after the current one expires.

You can extend your F-1 Status very easily. Just make sure to get your acceptance letter to your Masters to your International Office. They can transfer your I-20 to your new school and they'll extend the period for another 2 years (or however long it'll take). You can even extend it again for a Ph.D.

The only thing you'll have to worry about is your visa stamp. It'll be expired and when you leave the country, you'll need to take your new I-20 to a consulate or embassy and get a new stamp. This usually isn't a problem unless you're from certain countries.
