I am needing some plans/ specs for a concrete retaining wall under 1m in height that will be on black soil... would like some info on footings and actual wall, depths and widths etc. also what type of reinforcing to use, mesh/bar etc... thanks in advance

A retaining wall generally needs to be dug into the surrounding soil for a deadman. You might do better to make one from concrete blocks or stones.

Hi Steve,
A very easy way to build a retaining wall under 1 metre high is to use interlocking retaining wall blocks. In most cases they don’t even need mortar and because your wall will be built less than a 1 metre high you don’t need reinforcing.
