if you are Happy with what you have, then...

ask him if he wants you to accept these jobs that will make you guys more money. if you ask him, it will make him feel like he is making a decision and being the man of the house. if anything, it might make him want to do better. in the meantime, you guys will have more money!

OH My Gosh.... hisband?? ambicious??
you do not need to look for fault with your" hisband. "
If he had been a little more "ambicious" he probably would have looked for a wife that had enough smarts to be able to spell simple words.
My advice to you is to bookmark www.onelook.com.
It is a web site that you ( and your hisband) can use to check your spelling.
Hope this helps!!!
English may not be your primary language, but it is no excuse. If you can converse in this language, you can certainly spell husband correctly.

You had to have known this before you married him, right? Why hold yourself back? If you're ambitious and he's not, go for it. Are you sure you two are meant to be together? It seems like you both are unhappy with each other and hoping to change the other one.

Mature men these days are not threatened by a woman's success. In fact, they find it very attractive. Your priorities are all wrong here. Don't you care about your personal fulfillment?

So, instead of being accomplished like you would like to be, you keep yourself down so he can feel better about himself because he doesnt care about accomplishing anything.

Does any of that make any sense to you???
