I mean - seen it yourself.... I'm not talking about "miraculous healings" of the body (UNLESS it is the dead being raised after three days of being dead, or an arm growing back after it had been chopped off)
Has anyone - anyone - ever seen a miracle of those proportions? Has anyone seen a sea part in half and then walk across the dry sea bed? (ps, the archeologist who supposedly discovered the chariots, giant bones and noah's ark, BTW, was proven to be a complete fraud! Just do a search of him and put the word, "Fraud" behind it)
I mean real miracles - no cancer miracles, please! My atheist uncle had a severe cancer that completely reversed - medicine still does not understand cancer that well, but there are medical explanations of why a cancer would do that and it's definitely NOT a miracle.)
Why should we believe the unbelievable miracles of scripture when they are so removed from our experience? The Apostles were granted the power to do miracles, Jesus said we'd do GREATER!

It is not removed, it is that we dont see and even when we see we cannot believe because its so unbelievable to be true.
I had no idea that all were true. Though I hear about miracles, since it has never been evident in my life, I ignored and gave excuse that it might have happenned cause of something else.
But its all true. I know because it happenned in my life, in my hopelessness when I called to God. He is there, sure to answer, not according to our pressure that we put on Him just like we do to our loved ones, but as He thinks that is best for us. I am so sure that I exist cause God made me and all things around me and YOU whom He can change YOUR heart IF HE shows His Grace alone.

Of course no one is going to find Noah's Ark & all the stuff. That would be tangiable proof that the bible is real. The whole faith concept isn't based on proof so, people can look all they want, they won't find anything to back it up. As far as miracles, I've never seen any. Miracles are relative anyway. What I think is miraculous, someone might think is stupid and not even close to being a miracle. I think finding a real Louis Vuttion purse on sale for $50 is a miracle but someone else might find that to be nothing. I've never seen anyone walk on water (aside from the Mindfreak dude) or turn water into wine. If Jesus said we could do greater, He probably meant the little things like helping our fellow man. It is quite a miracle when someone steps outside of themselves and gives selflessly to someone in need. You're asking to perform parlor tricks when you can be performing miracles. They're just not the fancy ones you'd like to perform. If you want to perform one, volunteer at your local hospital. Help out at a homeless shelter when it's not Christmas or Thanksgiving. Buy poor children presents during non holiday times. Donate to schools or be a Big Brother. Those are miracles you can do that are much more effective than walking on water.

Christ was the son of God and his disciples were close to him. Of course they could do that. I haven't seen anyone able to do it these days. Is there anyone out there who even tries to live a perfect life? I mean really. Why don't you try it as an experiment. Try to get close to god and live a perfect christian life and who knows you may be able to perform these miracles too. See you won't even try. That's why we don't see miracles going on these days.

Its weird that people associate those things like healing directly to their religious beliefs. When its even possible that had nothing to do with their religion. If there is a god it might not be the one you are following. How many miracles do you have proof are associated with your belief system?

i've got examine all of it. i grew to become into interested in Christianity. I used to comprehend extra of the gospels than maximum Christians. And it would not do it for me in any respect. when I studied Judaism, it purely 'clicked' with all of the non secular seek I had achieved (which took in an entire selection of issues en path). Miracles do no longer provoke me - they're tricks and not what supplies me a feeling of non secular connection to something. all and sundry could be in a position to do superb issues, yet because of fact the Zen masters say, once you 'get an attack of the sidis (powers)' as my Roshi used to place it, the element to do is to maintain meditating. To be straightforward, i'm slightly bowled over which you utilize those particular issues as something that would desire to hold us up short. In India, temple clergymen regularly use their ability to stroll on hearth as info of their holiness. The Atheist Centre in Vijayawada counters such reflects with the help of coaching all and sundry who needs to stroll on hearth themselves. If I have been there 2000 years in the past and if all those issues had somewhat exceeded off, i could have been intrigued, yet i might are transforming into repelled with the help of the attitudes of the folk who grew to alter into 'Christians' (that's clearly extremely a while after the dying of Jesus). That conceited fact, the threats to others that they may well be damned in the event that they did no longer have faith, the utter nonsense of individuals like Paul who seemed to be hate all that made life exciting - no, no way might I certainly have have been given in touch with that group. you do no longer seem to comprehend that the very groundedness of Judaism is precisely what makes those individuals who % to stay or exchange into Jewish sense extremely comfortable approximately all and sundry of those efforts to make us have faith in somebody who would not journey as much as the excellent messiah concept. you do no longer seem to understand that, as Juggling Frogs is asserting, the Messiah company isn't extraordinarily substantial in Judaism. that's not the concentration of our concept and prepare. that's obtainable on the fringes, an concept that would properly be remembered now and back - yet we at the instant are not waiting for the Messiah. we are attempting to get on with foremost a good life interior the right here and now, residing life to the excellent, permitting each physique on earth to stay the ideal life they are in a position to.

I have seen answers to prayers (including healing of cancer etc). :)
It is rational to believe in God (given the evidence).
Given that it is rational to believe in God, it is rational for miracles to be possible.
Therefore it is IRRational to insist that miracles are not possible.
Therefore etc...
Cordially,
